The test inks are presented in bottles, with liquid of different surface tension depending on the value to be measured.

The application of the ink on the surface of the material to be measured is usually done using a pipette or a disposable cotton swab. Both systems prevent ink deterioration, guaranteeing the accuracy of the surface energy measurement in future measurements.
